Since, you believed that Google Photos has plenty of rightful things to edit every of your photos. Now, the new update brings editing on your pictures and it never saves duplicates into the albums.

The website Android Police indicated on his teardown factor, when you are trying to bring any changes on to the photos with a newer version of the Google Photo app, it will start saving new photos at the same location along with changes engaged. Anyway, if you want to open in future, you can make undo function to roll back the original. So you can feel free to edit those photos and it keep your originality without destroying your original one.
