Recently, Google introducing a new security notion for Gmail users, that derived through E2Email for Chrome extension and that makes you simple installation of OpenPGP encryption for Gmail account.
This new chrome support was developed by Google engineers, that comes over through on GitHub, so other developers can share their thoughts to get more enhancement.
E2EMail, you can’t find directly on the Chrome Web Store, and if you need on your browser, then you have to complete from the GitHub site. The main concept on this E2EMail, any user who want to access Gmail the outgoing email using PGP encryption and the Open PGP works for senders without finding PGP key online. Once you have installed this extension, all PGP will be connected through E2EMail, which creates an OpenPGP encryption key, and more of them it comes public. To run this E2EMail, it takes the Gmail API and JaveScript cyptographic to communicate the Gmail to send or read the encrypted messages. And also the extension works Gmail contact API to complete the email addresses. The extension has some draw back features, which are only accepted text level of email messages.
