Firefox App for Android Brings Web apps to Support Android Home Screen

Firefox App includes web apps to your Android home screen. This new update function will arrive through v58, but you can try before arriving this new service in the play store. Try on Firefox Nightly.

Mozilla confirmed that Google Chrome using Progressive Web apps and this taken in the matter, that will reach into the Firefox mobile home screen. This new feature when you Firefox gets v58 allow you to ”Add to Home screen” one you get supported website.

If you try to load the web app in Firefox, that will be displayed ”configured view mode and orientation” and shows separate in the app- it just looks like a native app. It has already a fresh external link comes from the web apps. If your popular site doesn’t get support web app, you have another option that ”Add page Shortcut” on your home screen, so that will easy to run the site. Through on this it works Progressive web app and you can see the web page works a normal page.
